LORETTE ONIONS SOUP!!
ingredients:
-4 to 5 big onions
-4 tbsp butter 
-2 tbsp flour 
-6 cups of warm water ou chicken stock
-2 cups of milk(or more)
-1 tsp of salt
-1/4 tsp of pepper
- cut the onion in half and slice them thinly as possible.
-warm the butter in an heavy pot. Add the onions and stir with a wooden spoon until the onion have a nice golden coloration. dont over cooked them, because if they turn brown they will give a unpleasant flavour to the soup.
-when the onions are well golden, add the flour and cook on a lot fire until the flour turn golden as well.
- Add the water or the stock and the salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then cook it for 8-10 minute on a low fire again.
-At the same time prepare the crostinis with the cheese you like.
-Then add the warm milk( I used more cream than milk at the restaurant) than make sure there is engouh salt and pepper, than poor the soup on the crostini.
